Niagara Adventure

Incredible view from our hotel room.
Ah, Niagara Falls. What a beautiful place! I don't know much about how the falls were formed but God gave us quite a delight when He made this place.

As I write this post, I am eating the blueberry yogurt I grabbed off the breakfast buffet but didn't end up eating it at the hotel. Yup, it came home with us... shhh, don't tell Customs/Border Patrol.

Our anniversary weekend at the Falls was glorious.  Beautiful view from our hotel room.  Wonderful meals of vast breakfast buffets, yummy soups, crispy fried haddock, a veal sandwich, gourmet steak and pasta. Breaking-even at the slots in the casino. Brisk walk in a snow squall to get up close to the Falls.  And plenty of quality time together as a couple.
With wonderful food and great views it is hard to pick a favorite thing from the weekend. But we totally loved the dinner theatre we attended on Friday night.  Keith found this place as recommended by Trip Advisor. Oh Canada Eh? was performing their Christmas dinner show called Mistletoe Magic.  The wait staff were also the actors and the singers! It was lively and fun. There was a skit were one of the male actors was a game show host hosting a show called, "Kiss or Tell?"  It was quite humorous as he went around the dining area asking if couples would either kiss or tell to win. The couple we sat next to was from Niagara Falls and told us they come often to the dinner show.  To me that says a lot... Maybe lack of entertainment in the Niagara Falls area but I was thinking it says a lot about the enjoyment the show brings the tourists AND the locals.

  1. You could use this picture to pose as an NC State fan, if you ever needed to since they are the "wolf pack". As you stand by their mascot, and wear your red and white with only the "ST" showing, you could easily convince someone that this says NC State. Go pack!
