In the 3rd month...
... Eva has been smiling at us, at grandparents, at friends and at strangers. This has been such a daily joy for us. She also laughs out loud.
... Last week, she weighed in at 11lbs 14 oz. and just 22 inches. What a shortie!
... She is still in Size 1 diapers and has gone through the nearly 441 diapers of them that were gifted to her by thoughtful friends and family at showers. With the 12 remaining Pampers sitting in the drawer, I was forced to purchase necessary diapers for the first time. I went pricey and bought the Honest Company ones at Target. No sooner had I done this, when my wonderful mother bought an 80-pack of Huggies to diaper our sweet little 3-month old. Guess I'll save the diaper budget for Size 2.
... Eva has attended two more weddings.
... We have read The Book of Nehamiah and Luke 2 in The Rhyme Bible, A Baby is Born, Baby Cakes, Guess How Much I Love You, our Highlights Hello Magazines, Higgins Hunts Holland, and Prayers for Children.
...We've been to another Clippers baseball game. And went to Progressive Field to watch the Indians for the first time.
...She been out on the boat again!
...She grabs at toys, pacifiers, blankets, my hair, Taggies, and our fingers.
...She has met Grandma Moorhead, lots of Herman cousins and two 2nd cousins, Luke and Teyla.
... Boy trouble is already brewing: brothers, James and Charlie, came for a visit both with eyes for Eva; Time with Rhys at the Park of Roses was quite romantic; a "love" letter from Chase came in the mail; and Jack from church points at her and says "Girl!"
... Christin came for several more visits. Eva loves falling asleep in Christin's arms.
... lots more time spent with Grandma Suzie & Grandpa Hallas as well as Grandpa Christensen and Grandma C.
... our love and excitement for our little girl grows each day. Thanks and praise to God!
