Fourth of July

Well... actually it was the 2nd of July, but the founding fathers would definitely approve.

It is the middle of the summer (read: Drum Corps season) and it is a holiday, so it is a rarity that this young married couple is at home TOGETHER! We were able to walk from our home to the site of Columbus's spectacular event, Red, White & Boom. This is truly an occasion as 450,000 come to the downtown area in anticipation of the Nation's Birthday. We met up with friends, heard some local music, walked the streets, ate some local fare, Keith even stopped to read a historical marker. We watched the fireworks from a little farther away (but closer to home) so we could get up for a parade in the morning.

  1. You have a little flag like me! What did the Irish plaque say about the Irish in Ohio?
