Christmas to New Year's in Photos

What a great time of year! Christmas feels so warm and full of God's Love for us. New Year's is a great new beginning. The juxtaposition of these two celebrations all within one week make for spectacular memories each year.  It is always a busy time for us with travel around the state and beyond. We are thankful to be able to share each moment with the friends and family that we consider a true blessing.
Kicking things off was a very lively Herman Christmas party
at Aunt Anita's house. Grandpa Herman won 3 pairs of
ladies sunglasses in a game of Bunco.
Christin tries to stay warm on her visit to Ohio.
Baby Hallas was very excited to have her nearby.

My first time making Christmas Chex Mix.  It took the whole morning but, oh, was it delicious! White chocolate and caramel ... what is not to love?!?

A hand-painted gift for Mom. Ross, Chip, Keith, and I collaborated on four different canvases to create one Columbus city scene.  I think she liked it. =)

Happily engaged: Evan and Myriah
There was lots of bowling this year... both Wii and real bowling.
The only photo proof is actually of Grandma Moorhead playing
her two frames on the Wii.
Tuckered out from all the festivities.
Even though his hat is blocking his view,
James is ready for walking action!

Sara brought some fresh oysters from North Carolina. I spent New Year's Eve making Oyster Bisque. Yum-o. And there was enough to freeze for Keith to try upon his return from Florida.

...And a Blessed New Year!
