White as Snow

Psalm 51:7
Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Jesus came that we may have life.  Easter reminds us that we can be washed white as the snow that fell on the ground early last week.  White is such a cleansing image.  It is pure.  It is beautiful.  It sparkles. Our most recent snow fall (could it be the last?) was during Holy Week and it bathed the city in the pure beautiful white snow. The beautiful white lilies in church with their trumpet shape herald the good news of Jesus' death and resurrection.  He returned alive so that we may have life... and may we live it abundantly forever with Him!

Lilies around the altar... yup, we sat up front!
Easter morning at our house: year two.
Some of the good eggs!
Our "living" cross ... people brought flowers from home to
insert in this display cross.  Couldn't get photo from a better
vantage because the lobby was full of people. =)
