The snow keeps falling...
Of the previous seven days of school, Keith has had three and a half of them off due to snow. The Winter Powerhouse has paralyzed the town and surrounding areas. Driving is quite the challenge in the inches and feet of accumulation.
ODOT claims to have 147 vehicles out working on the streets. Our little brick street is long forgotten by the ODOT force... so we walk in the middle through the tracks left by the brave traveling cars. Walking a few blocks to the safe haven of Zeno's, provides us with food, beverage, Keno and the break from being stuck indoors. Yesterday, Zeno's was filled with other Olympic Pairs Figure Skating fans. We cheered and gasped with every triple axle.
Maybe we will shovel the sidewalks around the block today. It is always so peaceful out in snow.
